Rachel + Leah // Shenandoah Sunrise Proposal
Rachel contacted me back in May and told me she was planning on proposing to Leah at sunrise on the Massanutten Storybook trail overlooking the Shenandoah Valley and wanted me to document it. I don't think I've ever said "yes!!!" to anything so quickly - this is the kind of thing I live for.
Days of stressful weather-watching because of the incoming maybe-tropical-storm Hermine gave way to the most beautiful sunrise. Layers of burning crimson red faded into fog that swept over us then rolled out, opening to crazy beams of light through the clouds. It's like the world took their radiance and reflected it back on them. Completely unreal.
Rachel told me they didn't want to do any posing and honestly, when you're this happy and filled with love, I think just letting the moments happen is absolutely the way to go.
I seriously can't wait for their wedding next year!
