Tara + Dylan // In-Home + Union Market DC Engagement

I got to hang with these two (and their pup Heath!) at their home in Capitol Hill before venturing out for some quick exploring around their neighborhood and then heading over to Union Market. I love how seemingly pretty boring industrial backdrops make the perfect frame for snuggling. They’re a strong runner-up to mountains for me.

I’m still laughing at the picture of Heath in their kitchen, super sketched out about being tricked into sitting on a hardwood floor. He’s an awesome dog, and this was such a perfect autumn adventure. This was one of my last shooting days of 2018 and I couldn’t imagine anything better to wrap up the year + get me super hyped to hang out with these two again in just a couple months at their River Farm wedding!

PS - Tara + Dylan fed me the most incredible pasta immediately after we were done shooting, so I’m obliged to be friends with them forever. Pasta is the key to my noodle soul.
